Open Question: Why does my MSN show all my friends offline, but they can see me online?

I've tried everything to fix this! Restarted the computer, repaired WLE (Windows Live Essentials), uninstalled and reinstalled it, uninstalled everything except for MSN, tried changing properties.
I am able to log in to something like eBuddy with MSN and see them online, so THEY HAVE NOT BLOCKED ME AND THEY AIN'T SHOWING OFFLINE. They sometimes write me something but I can't reply. I just want to use my simple Messenger. :/
I just got a new computer 1 month ago (this one), and it has Windows 7.
