A troll is really anyone who is purposely being negative. So people on here would be known as trolls for asking questions that are obviously stupid and are doing it for their own amusement, or people who answer in a stupid way that obviously isn't helping anyone.

So... a person who's goal is to not to be beneficial to the internet community but instead impede on it for their own amusement.
